Beatriz Mesquita

Beatriz Mesquita is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) fighter with one of the most competitive record in both Gi and Nogi competition. Born in Brazil, She began training at age 5 and currently trains under professor Leticia Ribeiro. Her aptitude for the sport was evident from the get-go, and she also enjoyed competing thoroughly, winning several podium spots from a young age, including the Brazilian National Junior Champion title and her third State Championship by the age of 10. Overall, she has earned 23 black belt titles. With 9 World Championship titles, she currently holds the record for the most IBJJF World Championship black belt titles and is the 2018 EDI Bantamweight champion. Beatriz Mesquita has cemented her status as one of the greatest grapplers of her generation.
