The new shots are less crimped at the waist, more comfortable and therefore, more wearable. The fabric is rugged, but a bit “noisy” due to somewhat stiff material.

Origin 2, my go to shorts from Virus. This is my 3rd pair and as always, love the zipper pockets and the durable fabric! I use it for the gym and the water, works great for both. I’d love to use it for hikes, but a little hesitant on that cause of the short inseam. The zipper pockets works perfect for hiking, just for me personally, not the inseam. I like a tad more leg coverage/protection when it comes to hikes. If there were a second choice inseam, like a “on the knee” kind of inseam, perfect! These shorts get my about an 1.5” above the knees.
