67,5km Ride. 4km Swim. 37km Trek. 1828m of Elevation
The Grand Teton Triathlon is not an official race, but what some say is the official triathlon of either a mad man or an inspired man.—that’s Levi Sampley a father, husband, videographer and leader— There’s no time limit, no starting gun, no ticker tape, no numbers pinned to your shirt. The journey consists of a 33,75km bike ride to Jenny Lake, swim 2km across the lake, hike and climb 18,5km and 1828 vertical meters to the top of the Grand Teton, and repeat the entire process in reverse.
